The Olympics officially start on the very lucky 8th of August, 2008 (Friday) - but you can get an early dose of the Beijing Olympics this Wednesday morning (tomorrow) at The Globe Pub. Join a gang of Chicago Red Stars staff and fans for the US Women's Olympic Team's opening game vs. Norway.
Kickoff is 6:45 am and i'll buy everyone's first beverage.

Setanta Sports will be showing Gaelic Football, followed by 6 Nations Rugby, at the same time. The snooty barstaff at the Globe Pub would rather watch everything from the U.K. rather than U.S.A. womens' soccer. 3={}
Anyhow, I will not be there. I won't be awake at that time.
