Keep Your Hands Off!

The Wilman Conde affair of course is another example of a spoiled player pouting until he gets his way. It is embarrassing and like a child having a temper tantrum should be ignored until he stops blubbering.

What bothers me worse is the apparent flagrant breaking of League tampering rules by the New York Red Bulls for the second time (at least) this off season. It's particularly bothersome, because both occurences have impacted the Chicago Fire.

Like Clemens/McNamee, these allegations are difficult to prove, but when the imperical evidence is laid out and the guilty parties are nervously licking their lips, it's pretty simple to see what's going on - and it ain't right.

I'm sure it was an honest mistake when Luis Arroyave wrote "Osorio passed along this note..." from Conde, in his "Conde Wants Out" blog post. He has since changed the text to "Conde passed along this note".

It sure made me think NY was blatenly tampering when I first read it though.

Yes. All the trolling Pink Cows in BigSoccer's Chicago Fire forum. ;)

I've been a huge fan of yours for a long time despite being from Jersey and not a Fire fan, but when I heard you were censoring comments on this blog, I lost a lot of respect...didn't think you were like that...

Giacomo, thanks foryour kind words. i have censored one comment from this blog since i started. It was a spam comment about buying drugs on the internet. i redacted a number of words in another post
to show how my apparent transparency is really translucency...maybe that's what you heard about. Please check with your source and let me know what they are talking about, because i really didn't censor any legitimate posts.

Nevermind, I was mistaken.

I checked back where I saw you had deleted the post and a negative comment about you was deleted from the Section 8 fan boards, not by you on here.

Respect restored, lol.

I still think you should not have been dismissed as Fire GM, you're 1000 times better than Guppy, and at least 100 times better than any other current or former MLS GM.

You and Stillitano have always been my favorite soccer execs.

Good luck with the women's team in Chicago, I sincerely hope you can one day take control of a top men's club and guide them to glory, after winning a few championships with your current organization that is...
